• Fuels segment operates synthetic fuel plants at Secunda and the Natref refinery in Sasolburg and has an interest in the ORYX GTL joint venture in Qatar producing liquid fuels for wholesale retail and export markets.

• Chemicals Africa segment comprises Base Chemicals and Differentiated Chemicals divisions producing polymers fertilisers explosives methanol ammonia gases solvents phenolics wax comonomers safol cobalt catalyst and carbon mainly for customers in South Africa with selected exports.

• International Chemicals segment comprises Chemicals Americas and Chemicals Eurasia divisions producing ethylene polyethylene polypropylene propylene glycol surfactants alcohols aldehydes ketones acrylates and other specialty chemicals serving customers in North America Europe Asia and other regions.
