• Oxide production: This segment converts the processed concentrates into rare earth oxides, including neodymium praseodymium and heavy rare earth oxides, using hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical techniques.
• Metal and alloy manufacturing: This segment reduces oxides to pure metals and creates alloys such as neodymium iron boron alloys which serve as feedstock for magnet production.
• Powder production: This segment produces metal powders from the alloys enabling the fabrication of bonded and sintered magnets and other powder based applications.
• Manufacture of bonded and sintered rare earth magnets: This segment forms the powders into bonded and sintered neodymium iron boron magnets which are used in electric motors, wind turbines and electronic devices.
• Battery grade sulfates and carbonates: This segment refines black mass from spent lithium ion batteries into battery grade sulfates, carbonates and precursor cathode active materials for sale to battery manufacturers and gigafactories.
• Precursor cathode active materials: This segment further processes sulfates and carbonates into precursor cathode active materials that are direct inputs for lithium ion battery cathode production.
• Precious metals: This segment recovers and refines gold, silver, palladium and other precious metals from electronic scrap and other waste streams for sale to industrial users.
• Base metals: This segment extracts and refines copper, nickel, cobalt and other base metals from end of life feedstock, providing materials for various industrial applications.
