Chilean Cobalt Corp. is a critical minerals exploration and development company focused on advancing the La Cobaltera and El Cofre cobalt copper projects located in the San Juan District of northern Chile’s Atacama Region. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Baltum Mineria SpA, the company has acquired 6,377 hectares of mining concessions and is engaged in acquiring, exploring, and evaluating mineral resources, including cobalt, copper, and rare earth elements. Its activities include concession acquisition, geophysical and geochemical surveys, drilling, AI based studies, and the development of environmental, social, and governance frameworks to support future resource development.

Chilean Cobalt Corp. has not generated any operating revenue to date, as its activities remain at the exploration and development stage. The company intends to generate revenue in the future through the production and sale of cobalt and copper concentrate from its Chilean projects, and potentially through the sale of rare earth elements from a separate exploration agreement in south central Chile. Near term cash flow is expected to come from capital raised via equity and debt financings, which fund ongoing exploration, permitting, and partnership development.

Chilean Cobalt Corp. positions itself as a potential supplier of responsibly sourced cobalt and copper from a politically stable jurisdiction, offering an alternative to the dominant sources in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Indonesia. The company emphasizes its Chilean location, which provides strong infrastructure, transparent permitting, and adherence to international ESG standards such as IRMA and Digbee, thereby addressing downstream customers concerns about supply chain risk, environmental impact, and human rights practices. It has also secured a non binding letter of intent with Glencore for a right of first and last refusal on its future production, enhancing its market access and credibility.

The company’s prospective customers include manufacturers of lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles and consumer electronics, producers of high performance alloys for aerospace and defense, and industrial users of copper for electrification and construction. While no definitive off take contracts have been disclosed, the anticipated Glencore arrangement and ongoing discussions with US Strategic Metals suggest a focus on battery material suppliers and alloy producers as the primary market for its future cobalt and copper output.
