The Company helps global brands enter, grow, and succeed in the Chinese market by managing all aspects of the brand management value chain, including strategy, branding, digital and social marketing, omni-channel sales, customer service, overseas logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment. Able View operates primarily in the beauty and personal care sector, with a particular focus on functional products such as dermo-cosmetics and functional personal care items, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements.
Able View generates revenue from the sale of products sourced from its brand partners, whom it regards as suppliers. The Company purchases goods from these suppliers and sells them to Chinese consumers through multiple channels, including online e-commerce stores operated by Able View, offline counters, and various distribution networks such as mainstream horizontal online marketplaces, vertical online marketplaces, social e-commerce platforms, and independent distributors and dealers. Revenue is derived solely from product sales, as the Company does not charge separate fees for its brand management services; instead, the cost of these services is absorbed into its overall budget when reselling the brand partners’ products.
The company operates through the following segments:
• Brand Management and Sales. This segment encompasses the full spectrum of activities required to manage international beauty and personal care brands in China, including strategy development, branding, digital and social marketing, omni-channel sales execution, customer service, logistics coordination, warehousing, and fulfillment. Able View designs and implements brand management strategies jointly with its brand partners through dedicated teams, manages supply chain and distribution channels, and sells products directly to consumers or through intermediaries such as online marketplaces, distributors, and offline retail channels.
Able View holds a leading position in China’s cross-border brand management for beauty and personal care brands. According to the iResearch Report dated February 13, 2023, the Company had a 16.5% market share in beauty and personal care cross-border brand management and a 38.1% market share in functional beauty and personal care brand management in 2022, measured by gross merchandise value. Its competitive strengths include comprehensive omni-channel capabilities, strong relationships with category-leading global brand owners such as Clarins and PAT, a knowledgeable and experienced management team, and a culture of innovation and adaptation to evolving market trends in China.
Able View serves Chinese consumers across a diverse range of channels, including online shoppers on platforms such as Tmall.com, JD.com, Ali Health, Vipshop, Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and WeChat, as well as customers purchasing through offline channels like shopping mall counters and beauty chain stores including KKV and Harmay. The Company also sells to independent distributors, dealers, and agents who operate both online and offline. Specific brand partners contributing significantly to revenue include Clarins, which accounted for approximately 71% of total revenues in the year ended December 31, 2024, and Cosmetic Skin Solutions LLC, which contributed about 14% of revenues in 2022 and 2023.
