About This List

Which members of Congress trade the most?

The table ranks every member of the House who has disclosed a trade by estimated volume, the midpoints of their disclosed ranges added up; sort it by trades, purchases, sales, filing delay or how their purchases did against the S&P 500.

How is "Avg Buy vs SPY" measured?

For each stock purchase with a price, the return of the stock from the trade date to today minus SPY's over the same days; the column is the average over the member's priced purchases.

Members of Congress disclose trades as dollar ranges, up to 45 days after the trade and sometimes later. Volumes use the midpoints of those ranges and are estimates; portfolio figures are a model built from the disclosed trades, not the members’ actual accounts. Not investment advice.
