QXO, Inc. is a building products distribution company that operates approximately six hundred branches across all fifty states in the United States and seven provinces in Canada. The company changed its name from SilverSun Technologies, Inc. to QXO, Inc. on June 6, 2024, after previously providing technology solutions and professional services to small and midsize manufacturers, distributors and service firms. Following the acquisition of Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. on April 29, 2025, QXO became the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing and complementary building products in North America, serving over one hundred ten thousand residential and nonresidential customers.

QXO generates revenue primarily from the sale of roofing products such as asphalt shingles and single ply membranes, waterproofing materials, and complementary building products including siding, plywood, oriented strand board, windows and doors. The company also provides value added services through its sales force, offering product guidance, training and technical support to contractors, home builders, building owners, lumberyards and retailers. Sales are made through its extensive branch network and inventory on hand enables same day fulfillment for most orders.

QXO holds the position of the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing and complementary building products in North America, giving it significant scale relative to the fragmented market that includes over seven thousand distributors in the region. The company competes against national, regional and local specialty distributors as well as big box retailers. Competitive advantages stem from its purchasing power, ability to invest in technology, extensive logistics network and strong relationships with major suppliers such as Owens Corning, GAF, Carlisle Construction Materials, CertainTeed, IKO, TAMKO, Johns Manville, James Hardie, Dow and Sika.

QXO serves professional contractors, home builders, building owners, lumberyards and retailers across the United States and Canada. Its customer base ranges from small local contractors to large national builders and no single customer accounted for more than one percent of net sales in the most recent fiscal year.
