- The residential segment develops and sells homesites across multiple communities primarily to homebuilders and on a limited basis to retail customers, and through an unconsolidated joint venture homes are being constructed and sold in the Latitude Margaritaville Watersound community an approximately 3700 home active adult residential development.
- The hospitality segment includes the exclusive Watersound Club offering members access to golf courses a beach club and other recreational amenities, owns or jointly owns and operates a portfolio of hotels across multiple brands from luxury boutique to branded hotels, and provides food and beverage operations retail outlets gulf front vacation rentals marinas and other entertainment offerings.
- The commercial segment owns or jointly owns develops and leases property for a variety of uses including multi family senior living self storage mixed use medical office retail industrial and other uses, sells developed and undeveloped land manages timber holdings which includes growing and selling pulpwood sawtimber and other products, and operates a real estate brokerage title insurance agency and insurance agency business, while also holding investments in unconsolidated joint ventures that own and operate two hotels a senior living community a fuel station and convenience store a multi family management business and a golf cart sales and service facility.
The St. Joe Company competes with local regional and national real estate firms and relies on its extensive land holdings in Northwest Florida, established entitlements for residential hotel and commercial development, and its integrated platform across residential hospitality and commercial lines to differentiate itself on location price quality and amenities.
