Global Infrastructure Services (GIS)

DXC Technology’s revenue from GIS decreased by 6.93% from $2.31 billion in Q2 2021 to $2.15 billion in Q2 2022 on a year-on-year basis. It also declined by 4.44% compared to $2.25 billion earned in Q1 2022. This segment contributed to 53.48% of the company’s total revenue in Q2 2022.
GIS revenue were $9.4 billion for fiscal year 2021, a decrease of 10.3% compared to fiscal year 2020. GIS Revenue in constant currency decreased 11.9% compared to fiscal 2020. The decrease in GIS reflects project completions, termination, and decrease in run rate project volume. With the help of additional services provided to new and existing customers the decrease in revenue for fiscal 2021 was partially offset.
Global Business Services (GBS)
GBS provides innovative technology solutions. GBS help customers to address the key business challenges which accelerate transformations tailored to each customer’s industry and specific objectives. GBS offerings include:
DXC Technology’s revenue from GBS decreased by 16.46% from $2.24 billion in Q2 2021 to $1.87 billion in Q2 2022 on a year-on-year basis. It also declined by 0.74% compared to $1.89 billion earned in Q1 2022. This segment contributed to 46.51% of the company’s total revenue in Q2 2022.
