Job Description

Selected intern’s responsibilities include:

• Build parsers for xml and html documents, to store the output in a structured data shape
• Brainstorm and build python modules to clean up unstructured data
• Use a mix of multiprocessing, multithreading and numba (to offload tasks to GPU) to speed up math calculations
• Quality checks by cross-verifying our outputs with other existing datasets, to identify bugs, and fixing them,
• Adopt best practices and brainstorm, to store large sets of data efficiently (500 million + rows of data)

Details:

• Tenure: 6 months
• Working Hours: 10am-6pm
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Positions open: 3
• Comes with a job offer conditional on performance
