The total revenue for Ambarella has been declining since the last quarter of 2018. Their revenue fell down by 23% in 2019 to $227.8 from $295.4 million in 2018. The majority of the drop in the revenue can be attributed to the loss of GoPro and its original design manufacturers. GoPro’s contribution to the total revenue would reach almost 35% in some quarters. Even after the loss of GoPro, the estimated numbers for 2020 show that Ambarella is still a major player in the market and can move towards a fast-growing phase.
