Thus, there is a more potential increase in the number of Veeva Vault customers than the number of Veeva Commercial Cloud customers.
These products are used by companies throughout the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Even contract sales organizations and contract research organizations make use of these products. The life sciences customers include the largest global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, Eli Lilly and Company, Bayer AG, Gilead Sciences Inc., Merck & Co. Inc., and Novartis International AG. They are even used by emerging growth pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including Alkermes plc, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., bluebird bio, Inc., Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, and Moderna Inc. Veeva Systems also delivers solutions to companies in the consumer goods, chemicals, and cosmetics sectors.
Each year, Veeva Systems have added in new customers and in no year there has been a decline in the total customer count. In 2021, the total customer count increased by 15.3%. Even during the pandemic in 2020, the total customer count increased by 19.7%.
