Due to its customer’s increased demand for motor fuel during the late spring and summer months, its business exhibits some seasonality compared to the fall and winter months. The reason behind the seasonality lies in the activities of traveling, recreation, and construction which typically increase in these months, which ultimately drives up the demand for motor fuel sales. The company states that their gallons sold are somewhat higher in the second and third quarter of their fiscal years due to this seasonality.
