Kinder Morgan Inc. is one of the largest energy generator companies in North America. The company specializes in owning and managing oil and gas pipelines and terminals. Kinder Morgan also stores a variety of materials at their terminals such as gasoline, jet fuel, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke, and steel. The revenue from Canada has been on a decreasing continuously. In the years 2017 and 2018, the Canadian region shows $50 billion and $45 billion in revenue, respectively. However, in the year 2019, it rapidly falls to $3 billion, accounting for only 2% of the company’s total revenue. On a yearly basis, the revenue fell from $45 billion in 2018 to $3 billion in 2019, marking a fall of 93.33%.
United States
The United States is the major revenue contributor for the company, accounting for 97% of the total revenue in 2019, amounting to $128 billion. It first increased from $130 billion in 2017 to $136 billion in 2018, making a rise of 4.6%. However, further, it fell from $136 billion in 2018 to $128 billion in 2019, witnessing a fall of 5.88%.
Mexico
Mexico has a very small contribution to the total revenue of the company. It contributes only 1% to the total revenue in 2019, amounting to $0.8 billion. The revenue from this region hasn’t seen much fluctuations. It generated $1 billion in revenue during the years 2017 and 2018. In 2019, it fell from $1 billion to $0.8 billion in 2019, marking a fall of 20% on a yearly basis.
