The total number of stores in Q3 2020 was 23,495, which increased to 24,851 in Q3 2021 making an incline of  5.7%. The number of stores increased by 1.5% from 24,483 in Q2 2021 to 24,4851 in Q3 2021. 

INTERNATIONAL STORES

It witnessed a huge incline of 52.86%, between Q1 2016 and Q1 2021 from 7,476 stores to 11,428 stores. The company showed a constant growth in the number of stores from the initial stage. There was an incline of 8.1% from 11,017 stores in Q3 2020 to 11,909 in Q3 2021. However, on comparing between Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, 278 new outlets were added, making the growth of 2.39% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. The majority of the companies stores are international stores accounting for 47.92% of the company’s total stores in Q3 2021 amounting to 11909 stores.  

US COMPANY-OWNED STORES

The total number of US company-owned stores showed a slight downfall of 5.45% from 385 stores in Q1 2016 to 364 stores in Q1 2021. The number of  from Q2 2021 to Q3 2021 decreased by 1. However, the company-owned stores increased from 348 stores in Q3 2020 to 367 stores in Q3 2021, setting an increment of 5.46%. There were many fluctuations in the number of stores from Q1 2016 to Q3 2021 making a downfall of  4.68% in the total tenure. US company-owned stores accounted for only 1.48% of the total stores in Q3 2021.

US FRANCHISE STORES

US franchise stores account for 24.56% of the total stores in Q3 2021. There was a growth of 24.76% in the number of US franchise stores from 4,831 stores in Q1 2016 to 6027 stores in Q1 2021. In the initial quarters, there was a constant increase in the franchise stores. On comparing between Q3 2020 to Q3 2021, there was an incline in the number of outlets by 3.62% leading it to 6,104 stores in Q3 2021. However, there was no major change in the increase of the outlets from Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, marking the growth of 0.73% quarterly.

US STORES

There was a tremendous incline in the number of US stores by 22.53% from 5,216 stores in Q1 2016 to 6,391 stores in Q1 2021. On comparing the number of stores from 6239 in Q3 2020 to 6471 in Q3 2021, an increment of 3.72% was observed in a year. However, there was no major change in the number of stores from Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, only setting an increase of 45 stores quarterly. This segment of stores accounts for 26.04% of the total number of stores in Q3 2021.

The ticker symbol “DPZ” is used by the company on the New York Stock Exchange.

Domino’s business concept is very basic: the stores craft and serves high-quality cuisine at an affordable price, with easy ordering and seamless and speedy delivery, which is enhanced by innovations in technology. Their hand-tossed dough is prepared fresh and distributed to stores around the globe by them and their franchisees. Domino’s, based in Michigan, generates income and earnings by supplying food, supplies, and equipment to franchisees through their supply chain businesses, which are mostly located throughout the United States and Canada. Franchisees benefit by selling pizza to local clients along with other complimentary things. This company’s roots are in easy pizza delivery, but carry out clients account for a significant portion of its sales. Domino’s is primarily a franchisor, with independent franchisees owning and operating around 98 percent of the company’s locations.
