There are two reportable segments of the company: the Gaming Components and Systems and Gaming and the Creator Peripherals. The total revenue of Corsair. decreased from $457 million in Q3 2020 to $391 million in Q3 2021, indicating a 14.43% fall on a year-on-year basis. It also decreased by 17.29% as compared to $472.90 million earned in Q2 2021. Corsair Gaming’s revenue is further bifurcated into the following segments:

Gaming Components and Systems
It includes the development and sale of high-performance gaming components to help gamers build their own custom gaming PCs. The company also develops and sells complete high-performance gaming systems using their gaming components. Their solutions include high-performance power supply units(PSUs), cooling solutions, computer cases, DRAM modules, as well as high-end prebuilt and custom-built gaming PCs, among others.
From 2019, Gaming components and systems have contributed the majority of the revenue, in Q3 2021 this segment has contributed approximately 64% of the revenue. Gaming components and systems segment revenue were $251.9 million, which is a decrease of 14.8% year-over-year.
Gaming and Creator Peripherals
It seeks to provide the fastest, highest fidelity, and most seamless interface between digital athletes and their game, and content creators and their viewers. Their solutions also include high-performance gaming keyboards, mice, headsets, controllers, and streaming gear including capture cards, Stream Decks, USB microphones, studio accessories, and EpocCam software, as well as coaching and training services, among others.
This segment contributed 35% of the revenue in Q3 2021. The revenue declined to $139.2 million from $155.6 million in Q2 2021 which is a decrease of 10.53%. The revenue decreased by 13.8% year-over-year.
The decrease in revenue is attributed to an increase in logistics costs in the third quarter over the already elevated rate in the second quarter. The company has refinanced their long term debt, substantially decreasing the interest rates and also increasing the term. In the third quarter, they have reduced the total outstanding debt by $24 million to $250 million of face value. They recently released two new products: the New FaceCam 1080p streaming camera and the Xeneon gaming monitor.
