Europe, the Middle East, and Africa

The European market comprises the major segment in the net sales of the company. The contribution of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in total revenue for the period Q2 2022 stood at 39%. The European, Middle East, and African region’s revenue witnessed an increase from $354.70 million in Q2 2021 to $410.20 million in Q2 2022. This indicates a growth of 15.6% on a yearly basis. It also increased from $382.50 million in Q1 2022 to $410.20 million in Q2 2022, marking a growth of 7.2% on a quarter-on-quarter basis.

United States 

United States is the domicile region of the company. The U.S. Region contributes 33% to the total revenue of the company for the latest quarter of 2022. The U.S. revenue witnessed an increase from $309.50 million in Q2 2021 to $347.30 million in Q2 2022, indicating a growth of 12.2% on a year-on-year basis. It also grew from $324.00 million in Q1 2022 to $347.30 million in Q2 2022. This suggests an incline of 7% on a quarterly basis.

Asia Pacific

The Asia Pacific region accounts for 21% of the total revenue of the company in Q2 2022. The international revenue, some of which comes from emerging economies such as Brazil, Russia, India, and China, is subject to economic and political conditions in foreign markets, including those resulting from within the United States, as well as country-specific conditions associated with COVID-19, like the varied speed of recovery in several geographies. The company relies significantly upon major distributors and resellers in both the U.S. and international regions, including Tech Data and Ingram Micro.

Autodesk is a U.S.-based multinational software company. Their technology is used by customers in architecture, engineering, and construction; product design and manufacturing; and the digital media and entertainment industries. Their softwares bring together data from all phases of product development and production life cycle. Their professional software products are sold directly to customers, as well as resellers and distributors.

The company was incorporated by John Walker in 1982 and became known for AutoCAD, which is the company’s flagship computer-aided design (CAD) software, but now develops a wide range of software for its consumers. Autodesk’s shares are traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange, under the ticker symbol “ADSK”.
