Americas
A majority of Apple’s revenue comes from the Americas, which contributed about 38% of total revenue in Q2 2021 amounting to $34.31 billion. There was a 26% decrease in revenue compared to the previous quarter where the revenue generated was $46.31 billion.
Europe
Europe was the second biggest market for Apple products during Q2 2021 as it contributed about 24% of the company’s total revenue. There was a fall in the company’s revenue in Q2 2021 to $22.26 billion, from $27.31 billion in Q1 2021.
Greater China
Among the Asian countries, Greater China was the largest revenue earner for Apple Products. However, it ranked third in terms of revenue generated compared to America and Europe and contributed about 20% of Apple’s revenue during Q2 2021. This region also showed a fall in revenue from Q1 2021 to Q2 2021, where revenues fell from $21.31 billion to $17.72 billion.
Japan
Despite being considered the economic powerhouse of Asia, the revenues for Apple products from Japan were lower than that from Greater China during Q2 2021. In fact, Japan contributed less than half the revenues contributed by Greater China, at about 9%. Further, in keeping with the general trend, the revenues from Japan during Q2 2021 fell to $7.74 billion compared to Q1 2021 when the revenue was $8.26 billion.
Rest of Asia Pacific
The Rest of the Asia Pacific region could not even match the revenue from Japan and contributed only about 8% of the total revenues of Apple during Q2 2021. This region had registered a revenue of $8.23 billion during Q1 2021 but the revenue fell to $7.54 billion in the succeeding quarter.
