Appian Corporation offers a low-code automation platform that creates high-impact business applications and workflows that enables its customers to automate different aspects of their business. Appian’s customers in this region are Aegon, AIM Specialty Health, Ameren, Clayton, British Columbia Teachers’ Federation (BCTF), CNA insurance, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), The Federal Transit Administration, FirstBank, Flowserve, General Services Administration (GSA), LiUNA, Janus Henderson, Midwest Loan Services, Qorvo, Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), Ryder, SSQ Insurance, Telefilm Canada, TELUS, United States Air Force, USDA, University of South Florida, Vermont Mutual Fire Insurance Company, etc.

International

Appian’s platforms support multiple languages to promote collaboration and address challenges in multinational companies. In Q1 2021, 32% of its total revenue amounting to $28.57 million was generated from customers outside of the United States. Revenue from international regions grew 8% year-over-year from $26.41 million of Q1 2020. In international regions, Appian does either direct sales or indirect sales. In the international market, Appian operates mainly in the following regions:

  • Asia Pacific: In the Asia Pacific region, it operates in countries like Singapore, and Australia. Some of its customers in this region are Bendigo Bank, CIGNA, Melbourne Airport, Queensland Government, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), SSH Corporation Ltd (SSH), Sunsuper, University of Wollongong (UOW), the University of South Australia, etc.
  • Europe & Middle East: In this region, it operates in countries like Germany, France, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Some of its customers in this region are Addiko Bank, Allan Gray, Amadori, Bankia, Deloitte’s Robotics, Charities Trust, John Lewis, Prysmian Group, Naturgy, Punch Taverns, Saudi Food, and Drug Authority, Target Group, Anglian Water, Sonae, etc.
