Airbnb’s revenue is increasing on both, a quarter-on-quarter basis and a year-on-year basis. In the latest quarter of Q3 2021, the company generated a revenue of $24 billion. During both the other quarters, i.e., Q3 2020 and Q2 2021, the revenue stood at $14 billion. Due to this, the revenue witnessed a rise of 71.43% on both, a quarterly and yearly basis, from $14 billion to $ 24 billion.

From the revenue breakdown for the third quarter of 2021, we can conclude that France contributes the least, almost 12.50% to the total revenue of the company, whereas the US contributes 41.65% of the total revenue. This region of the company showed immense up and down in revenue. U.S.

The revenue from this region has been rising with each passing quarter. Earlier, in the same quarter of the previous year, i.e., Q3 2020, the company generated a total of $6 billion in revenue, while in the year Q3 2021 it increased to $10 billion. This shows that there is a 66.67% growth in revenue on a year-on-year basis. The quarter-on-quarter growth stood at 25%, from $8 billion in Q2 2021 to $10 billion in Q3 2021. Overall, the United States contributes 41.65% of the total revenue in Q3 2021.

Other International

This region contributes 45.85% to the total revenue generated by the company in Q3 2021, amounting to $11 billion. Earlier, in the same quarter of the previous year, i.e., Q3 2020, and in the previous quarter of the current year, i.e., Q2 2021, the company generated a total of $6 billion in revenue, witnessing no growth. Thus, the year-on-year growth and the quarter-on-quarter growth, both, stood at 83.34%.
