GoPro shipped approximately 923,000 cameras during Q3 2020 marking an increase of 106% from Q2 2020. The figure also rose 92.69% year over year, from 479,000 units shipped in Q3 2019. It wasn’t smooth sailing in the 9 months ended September 2020 period though, with the number of GoPro units shipped decreasing from 2,403,000 units to 1,712,000 units — a sharp 40% decline. The figure has been declining since 2016.
It seems like GoPro has to come up with a blockbuster product that shakes up the technology sector, in order to go back to its earlier stature.
