  • ServiceNow’s worldwide historical billings stood at $5.23 billion in 2020. This was a 30.75% rise from the previous year and maximum billings for the company over the past 7 years. The lowest billing was in 2014, which amounted to $0.85 billion.
  • The company’s year-over-year growth showed a downtrend from FY 2014 to 2019. However, there was a slight increase in 2020.

The majority of billings have historically been in US dollars. In recent years, a significant amount of billings have been in foreign currencies, particularly the Euro and British Pound Sterling. Foreign currency exchange rate fluctuations will create variation in ServiceNow’s billings. Foreign currency rate movements boosted billings by $21 million and $68 million for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2020, and 2019 respectively.
