This statistic highlights Nutanix’s Revenue Breakdown Worldwide, split across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, reported on a quarterly basis from Q1 2016 onwards.

The company has offices in regions like Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and North America. They are planning to add to their facilities, grow their employee base, and focus on their geographic expansion.

They have pioneered the ‘HCI’—Hyperconverged Infrastructure category which initially combined contrasting Information Technology silos of computing, networking, and storage into a single on-premises product. They have also innovated their native hypervisor which ran virtualized apps called ‘AHV’–Acropolis Hypervisor. They’ve engineered software solutions to run on several server platforms, for decoupling their software from their Nutanix-branded hardware appliances as well as powering several on-premises private cloud deployments. Nutanix’s solutions simplify multi-cloud environment complexities with a single-management console for compliance, cost governance, and automation.

Nutanix’s Revenue Breakdown Worldwide

Revenue Breakdown Worldwide Q1 2021 Q4 2021 Q1 2022 Contribution in Q1 2022
United States $177.11 $214.36 $217.15 57.37%
Asia-Pacific $62.60 $130.37 $65.68 17.35%
Europe, the Middle East and Africa $59.91 $32.49 $84.00 22.19%
Other Americas $13.14 $13.50 $11.69 3.09%
Total $312.75 $390.72 $378.52 100.00%

(All figures are in millions, except percentages)

Total revenue recorded was the highest in the fourth quarter of 2021 at $390.72 million. This declined by 3.12% in the subsequent quarter to mark $378.517 million. YoY growth from Q1 2021 to 2022 was 21.03%.

United States

This country contributes the maximum amount of revenue to the company. This revenue rises incrementally through the quarters. It was $177.113 million in Q1 2021 which grew YoY by 22.6% in the latest quarter to $217.15 million. Revenue grew quarter-on-quarter by only 1.3%. The States’ revenue contribution in the latest quarter stood at 57% which was the same as the revenue mix in Q1 2021. However, in Q4 2021, the revenue mix had dropped to 55% of the respective quarterly total.

Asia-Pacific (APAC)

This region’s revenue particularly surged in the fourth quarter of 2021—at $130.365 million. In Q1 2021 revenue recorded was $62.598 million and that in the latest quarter was $65.683 million. Thus, the YoY growth was only 4.93%. Q4 2021’s revenue was approximately double the revenue recorded in the other quarters of 2022, 2021, and 2020. Therefore, the quarter-on-quarter change from Q4 2021 to Q1 2022 was a deep decline of 49.62%. The revenue mix for this quarter from the above timeline was the highest in Q4 2021 at 33%. The lowest revenue mix from the given timeline was the lowest at 17% in the latest quarter.

Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)

APAC and EMEA have similar proportions of revenue contribution. One of them is higher than the other in every quarter, thus, there is no consistently higher contributor. However, when APAC’s revenue boomed in Q4 2021, EMEA’s revenue unusually plummeted by recording $32.49 million—which was merely 8% of the quarterly total. The highest revenue marked in the above-given timeline was in the latest quarter at $83.995 million. QoQ growth (from Q4 2021 to Q1 2022) therefore, was a rather massive 158.53%. YoY growth from Q1 2021 to 2022 was 40.21%.

Other Americas

This is the least revenue contributing region. Revenue from the above timeline was the least in the latest quarter at $11.689 million—which was only 3.09% of the revenue total. There was a decline in revenue from Q4 2021 to Q1 2022 of 13.43%. 11.02% was the YoY decline (from Q1 2021 to 2022). The revenue mix in Q1 2021 was higher at 4% which declined to 3% for both Q4 2021 and Q1 2022.
