International Stores

It witnessed a huge incline of 52.86%, between Q1 2016 and Q1 2021 from 7,476 stores to 11,428 stores. The company showed a constant growth in the number of stores from the initial stage. There was an incline of 8.1% from 11,017 stores in Q3 2020 to 11,909 in Q3 2021. However, on comparing between Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, 278 new outlets were added, making the growth of 2.39% on a quarter-on-quarter basis. US company-owned stores accounted for only 1.48% of the total stores in Q3 2021.

US Franchise Stores

US franchise stores account for 24.56% of the total stores in Q3 2021. There was a growth of 24.76% in the number of US franchise stores from 4,831 stores in Q1 2016 to 6027 stores in Q1 2021. In the initial quarters, there was a constant increase in the franchise stores. On comparing between Q3 2020 to Q3 2021, there was an incline in the number of outlets by 3.62% leading it to 6,104 stores in Q3 2021. However, there was no major change in the increase of the outlets from Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, marking the growth of 0.73% quarterly.

US Stores

There was a tremendous incline in the number of US stores by 22.53% from 5,216 stores in Q1 2016 to 6,391 stores in Q1 2021. On comparing the number of stores from 6239 in Q3 2020 to 6471 in Q3 2021, an increment of 3.72% was observed in a year. However, there was no major change in the number of stores from Q2 2021 to Q3 2021, only setting an increase of 45 stores quarterly. This segment of stores accounts for 26.04% of the total number of stores in Q3 2021.
