Desktop Metal currently ships its product to markets in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

On a QoQ basis, Desktop Metal’s total revenue increased by 34.1%. This was due to an increase in unit shipments in all regions across a more varied product mix and additional revenue in connection with acquisitions. Even on a YoY basis, the total revenue increased 10 times as compared to Q3 2020. Overall, this growth was due to an increased customer demand in 2021 as compared to 2020, wherein the demand had lowered, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the reason why there is a huge jump in the revenue, especially on a YoY basis and hence we see an exponential increase in the total revenue.

Even on a YoY basis, there was an increase of 101% in the revenue generated from this region.
