Arista Networks’ portfolio of products and technology consists of Core Datacenter/Cloud Switching Products, Adjacent Campus and Routing Products, and our Network Software and Services. The company sells its products through both direct sales force and channel partners.

The end customers span a range of industries and include large internet companies, service providers, financial services organizations, government agencies, media, and entertainment companies, and others. 

The business was ready to go to market in 2008 when the first product was created. The company launched its first switch product in 2010, and that device offered six times the throughput of anything else on the market then. To showcase its speed and low latency, the company first supplied its switches to high-frequency trading firms. Microsoft became its first cloud customer of Arista’ when the wall Street trading firms proved that the technology was next-gen and highly capable.

 Arista first helped Microsoft to build Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure platform, Azure, on 40G switches and then transitioned to 100G switches. Arista and Microsoft together created the blueprint for hyperscale cloud networking. After this other cloud titans soon became Arista customers as well.

  • Arista Network Detection and Response (NDR): The AI-driven Security Platform, driven by Arista’s Autonomous Virtual Assist (“AVA”), deeply analyzes billions of network communications to autonomously discover, profile and classify every device, user, and application across any network. 
  • Cloud EOS: CloudEOS is Arista’s multi-cloud and cloud-native networking solution enabling a highly secure and reliable networking experience with consistent segmentation, telemetry, provisioning, and troubleshooting for the entire enterprise. 
  • Arista A-Care Services: Arista A-Care Services are customer support offerings, which provide customers with high levels of support. The Global team of support engineers engages directly with client IT teams and is available at all times over e-mail, by phone, or through the website.

Arista Networks’ revenue from Services increased by 15.46% from $125.19 million in Q3 2020 to $144.54 million in Q3 2021 on a year-on-year basis. Revenue from services also increased by 2.62% on a quarter-on-quarter basis, i.e. it increased from $140.85 million in Q2 2021 to $144.54 million in Q3 2021.
