This article is all about Applied Optoelectronics data center revenue by transceiver speed. Applied Optoelectronics is a leading provider of fibre-optic networking products. The company reported a total GAAP revenue of $ 267.5 million in FY 2018.
A transceiver is a device which can receive as well as transmit both analogue and digital signals. This is usually used in Local Area Networks over which computers can communicate with the data center and with the other computers. The transceiver speed is measured in gigabits per second and forms important criteria while deciding on which transceiver to use. Applied Optoelectronics, designs, develops and manufactures advanced optical devices, packaged optical components, optical subsystems, laser transmitters and fibre optic transceivers.
A relatively higher data center revenue by transceiver speed would be a positive performance indicator for any type of transceiver.
